ABOUT CHELSEA
Chelsea, a New England native, is not your typical artist. Although she’s been creating art since before she could walk, there were other passions that captured her attention. Chelsea is a former New Hampshire Women’s State Amateur Golf Champion, New Hampshire Junior Girls Golf Champion, and DII Collegiate Golfer. Her other two passions were horseback riding and snowboarding, which can be seen throughout her artwork.
Chelsea is best known for capturing the pure soul of the subject in her paintings using a combination of Realism, Impressionism and hint of Abstract . Subjects include portraits of people and animals, while also capturing beautiful landscapes of popular destinations.
Chelsea graduated from Pfeiffer University in 2012 Double Majoring in Communications and Journalism, and Minoring in Studio Art. She played Collegiate Golf for Pfeiffer from 2008-2012.
When the mother of two boys isn’t in front of an easel, she is playing her guitar or piano, cooking or tending to the garden.
“I am inspired by everything Mother Nature presents to me. The people I meet, the animals I love and the nature that surrounds me; I try to show them off to the world so the true essence of that being or place can be appreciated and adorned as they deserve to be.”
